PMax 40 is a two-fibre artificial turf designed for football. It has been developed to work with different types of shockpad and infills to meet FIFA standards. PMax 40 combines Pride monofilament yarn, with a YEll strengthened fibrillated yarn, maximising its functions and strengths. Pride yarn has a diamond shaped fibre with grooves, encouraging “springback” when the fibre is flattened, making it exceptionally resilient. YEll, which consists of densely tufted fibrillated fibres, spreads to help contain infill splash.

  • Pride’s diamond shape yarn has special ridges that increase the surface area of each fibre. This ensures the fibres retain moisture for longer, which helps enhance sports performance.

  • Two different shape yarns, extruded to 12,000 and 5,500 dtex respectively, to provide a very resilient, durable and soft turf.

  • Meets FIFA standards with appropriate shockpad and infill.

A PMax 40 synthetic turf pitch is infilled with a base layer of sand and a performance layer of SBR, or natural infills, such as cork.
