Superb EX2 60PU

Superb EX2 60PU is a specially designed GAA and top rugby system, installed at leading clubs and schools. It is installed over pre-tested shock pads to provide the ultimate sports performance. Superb yarns are diamond shaped and perform better in wear tests than all other fibres. They are soft to touch, and exceptionally resilient, all thanks to the C8 polymer that is used . The Superb fibres are supported by a texturised yarn (“thatch”) that replicates natural grass roots, providing better grip for pushing on. Superb EX2 60PU is also a great football surface.

This surface uses a PU backing to ensure greater tuft lock, extra life to the turf system and greater product stability.

Infill*

THATCHED TURF FOR RUGBY & GAA

Fibre is the core of sports grass. The shape and thickness of the grass yarn therefore has a major impact on the durability and sports performance of the pitch. Superb yarn has an olive shape, with a thickness of 400μm – one of the thickest in the market, yet it is extremely flexible and resilient, retaining its “spring back” characteristics over the long-term.

Thicker yarns are normally not soft to touch, yet Superb is the exception. Superb yarn is made from high-end 100% PE raw material and possesses incomparable resilience and softness to touch.

The Superb range is one of the most advanced and durable artificial grass systems in the market, which better balances the durability, resilience and softness, to produce a great sports experience. Meeting FIFA Quality Pro and FIFA Quality standards, at 60mm, 55mm without a pad and 45mm with a pad, Superb excels partly thanks to the C8 polymer used and its strong diamond shape.

12-15 Years Warranty

The artificial grass industry usually offers products with a 7-8 years warranty. However, the unique design and advanced materials used in the Superb yarn means we can extend the warranty to 12-15 years, depending on usage and correct maintenance.

Superb has passed the UV ageing test, where it is subjected to 5000 hours of artificial weathering, with a test result of 4-5 on the Greyscale, in line with FIFA’s Quality Pro standard ( Grey Scale). This means it does not change colour, the fibre doesn’t fragment and the turf does not disintegrate under the sun’s rays. Superb, the high quality sports grass, quite simply can sustain far more intensive use than other yarns, and we back this up with our extended 12-15 years warranty.
