The next Football Foundation Framework project to be installed by Charles Lawrence Surfaces on behalf of Framework partner, The Malcolm Group, is Dinnington Resource Centre.
Dinnington Town FC and Dinnington Resource Centre are working together to bring their new artificial grass pitch to life. The project will include a new LED floodlight system, new perimeter fencing, new spectator stands and new clubhouse including changing rooms. Alongside their new synthetic pitch, this project will transform the site, providing the community with a fantastic sports facility to be proud of.
The surface to be installed is the BiPlex AU 52-14PU, a synthetic turf surface which provides top-level football pitches, with superior play characteristics. Designed to meet FIFA Quality Pro.
BiPlex AU is a two fibre product, extruded to 17,000 and 16,000 dtex respectively. The two different fibres – AeroX and Ultimate, have their own functions and strengths. AeroX is a heavyweight yarn with a solid profile, designed for its exceptional resilience, whilst Ultimate is a wider blade with a central spine, designed to offer a fuller appearance and a softer feel.
